ABA Parent Training
Great parents deserve great tools.
You already understand your child's personality, triggers, and strengths better than anyone. We give you the ABA strategies to match that knowledge, so you're equipped to help your child thrive in every moment, not just during therapy sessions.
Why Parent Training Changes Everything
You're not googling at midnight anymore. You're not second-guessing every interaction. You're not feeling helpless when your child melts down and nothing seems to help.
You have strategies that work. Tools you trust. Confidence that you're actually helping.
Admire ABA teaches you what your child's therapist knows—so progress doesn't stop when the session ends. It continues every moment you're together.
What Changes After ABA Parent Training
- You know what to do when your child starts escalating—before it becomes a full meltdown
- Mornings become manageable because you finally have a system that works
- You can tell when something's working and when you need to adjust
- Your child makes faster progress because you're reinforcing skills all day, not just during therapy
- You stop feeling helpless and start feeling capable
- Your partner, grandparents, and babysitters are all on the same page

ABA Parent Training FAQs
How is this different from regular ABA therapy?
Regular ABA therapy focuses on your child. Parent training focuses on you—teaching you the skills to support your child’s progress all day long, not just during therapy sessions.
Do I need to be present for every therapy session?
You don’t have to attend every therapy session, but parent training sessions are specifically designed for you to learn, practice, and ask questions.
What if I'm not naturally good at this?
You don’t need to be “good at it”—you just need to be willing to learn. We teach you step by step, and you practice with guidance until it feels natural.
Can both parents participate?
Absolutely. In fact, we encourage it. The more caregivers who are trained, the more consistent your child’s environment becomes—and consistency is what drives progress.
How long does parent training take?
It varies based on your needs. Some families benefit from a few focused sessions, others prefer ongoing support. We tailor it to what works for you.
Does insurance cover parent training?
Many Maryland insurance plans, including Medicaid, cover parent training as part of ABA therapy services. We verify your benefits upfront.
What if I try something and it doesn't work?
That’s exactly why we’re here. You reach out, we troubleshoot together, and we adjust the approach. You’re never doing this alone.
Can grandparents or other caregivers join?
Yes. Anyone who regularly cares for your child can benefit from training—it creates consistency across everyone your child interacts with.
You Don't Have to Figure This Out Alone
Parenting a child with autism is hard. Doing it without the right tools and support is even harder.
Admire ABA equips you with the strategies, confidence, and ongoing support you need to help your child thrive—not just during therapy sessions, but in every moment you’re together.
Like family should.
